Aakash Aath To Air ‘Mahalaya Agomoni’ To Welcome Maa Durga

Kolkata, 25th September, 2021: Aakash Aath, one of the most popular regional general entertainment channels, known for its variety of content driven programs is going to host Mahishasur Mardini, a Mahalaya Special program, on Wednesday, 6th October, 2021 from 4:45 am.

This year Aakash Aath will invoke the emergence of Devi Paksha with the dance drama ‘Mahishasur Mardini’ where actress Sreetama Bhattacharya will perform as Maa Durga on the screen and Srijon Chattopadhyay will be chanting Stotras accompanied by soulful Mahalaya songs by Iman Chakraborty, Durnibar, Gourab Sarkar, Soumen Nandy and Trisha Parui.

This program will be followed by a Musical Show from 05:30am where a host of renowned artists like Haimanti Shukla, Iman Chakraborty  along with Abhijit Bose, Goutam Ghoshal, Reshmi Chakraborty, Durnibar, Gourab Sarkar, Niharika, Raktim, Jyoti, Aakash Bhattacharya, Anandi and Ahiri will enthrall with their soulful performance. This episode will present Ranbindra Sangeet, Nazrulgeeti and songs of Hemanta Mukhopadhyay, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Rahul Dev Burman, Sachin Dev Burman and Shalil ChowdhuryDhaki Gokul Chandra Das will be seen playing the rhythm of dhak beats.
