Chowman, Oudh 1590 and Chapter 2 Join Hands To Provide Relief Assistance To The Yaas Affected Families
Relief Handed Over To More than 500 families benefitted
Kolkata 11th June, 2021: The second wave of the pandemic has already created a toll on people’s lives, in Bengal, however the suffering is even more because of the devastating cyclone ‘YAAS’ that had battered several livelihoods in the coastal areas massively. In this face of desperation and destruction, all are doing their best to be of service and save lives of one another. It is in this light that Chowman, Oudh 1590 and Chapter 2 recently provided some Relief Assistance to more than 500 families at Sagar Islands.
The relief materials were handed over to the Local BDO office for distribution among the distressed families.
“In this difficult period, we thought of reaching out to the affected people. We created a fund that we used in buying relief materials along with clothes for those people. All our employees came forward and contributed according to their capabilities. We do hope this small help will benefit some lives and secure hopes for many”, said Shiladitya Chaudhury, Director, Oudh 1590 & Chapter 2 & Debaditya Chaudhury, Director, Chowman, Oudh 1590 & Chapter 2.
