Hangla Pujor Sera Bhog steps in its 7th year
September, 2022: Hangla Pujor Sherabhog organised by Hangla Hneshel stepped in it’s 7th year. The event was inaugurated in presence of Legendary Indian Cricketer Jhulan Goswami and Actor Jeetu Kamal.
In Hangla Pujor Serabhog, team Hangla visits different housing complexes in Saptami and Ashtami to taste pujo bhog accompanied by a chef and a celebrity. They taste bhogs of 100 housing complexes. There are different categories under which they take part.
To inaugurate the event was present women’s cricketer Jhulan Goswami and actor Jeetu Kamal. The representative of the 100 housing complex were also present. The event was hosted by Boria Majumdar.
“The concept of Hangla Pujor Sherabhog is very unique. I remember the first time when I visited the program as a judge, and it was a great experience. I was extremely pleased to see how all the members of the complex came together to participate in the competition. ” said said Jhulan Goswami, who appeared in public for the first time after her retirement from cricket.
“We have been conducting the competition for the last 6 years and with today we start the 7th years journey. The involvement and participation of of everyone from the complex is really great. We hope to continue Hangla Pujor Sherabhog in the coming years too. ” said Anilava Chatterjee.
This year the judges for Hangla Pujor Sherabhog will include names like actor Bidipta Chakraborty, Ushoshi Chakraborty, Swagata Mukherjee and chefs Rongon Neogi, Sumanta Chakraborty to name a few.
“I was extremely excited to know about the ‘Bhog Competition’ of Hangla Hneshel. I am really glad to be a part of this. I hope that they continue this for years.” said actor Jeetu Kamal.
Hangla started in 2012. It is first Bengali International food magazine. It circulated in Bengal, Bangladesh and overseas. The magazine not only covers recipes, but also different types of food stories.
