EPI celebrated 75 years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotshov

The Eastern Regional office of Engineering Projects (India )Ltd, (EPI) a Govt. of India Enterprise, under the aegis of Govt. of India, Department of Heavy Industries celebrated 75 years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotshov on Saturday, the 02nd of July 2022 at Mohit Moitra Mancha, Paikpara, Kolkata in collaboration with Cossipore Sri Sanatan Dharma Vidyalaya (H.S.).


This program was graced by eminent personalities from diverse fields including Shri Biswajit Biswas, Executive Director, EPI, along with Swami Pareshatmananda Maharaj from Ramkrishna Math, Shri Nirmal Kumar Dubey, Dy. Director and Dr. Sunil Kumar Loka, Dy. Director both from GOI, Ministry of Home Affairs, Official Language Department, Shri Rajesh Kumar Shaw, Narakash (Upkram) Kolkata, and eminent poets, authors and educationist from Kolkata.


The speakers emphasized on the elixir of inspiration from the freedom fighter. The elixir of freedom means the elixir of new ideas, the elixir of new resolutions, the elixir of freedom is the festival i.e. the elixir of self-reliance.
It is pertinent to mention here that EPI is in the same Company which has to its credit some of the most prestigious civil projects in this state since 1970, including Nabanna, SBI LHO Samriddhi Bhavan, WB Pollution Control board office, Mini Secretariat at Siliguri, NKDA office, New Town, 35 Nos of multipurpose cyclone shelters, ESIC hospital at joka & maniktala etc. amongst many others.
The company also celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga program of Govt of India vide which company distributed Indian national flags, caps printed with logo of 75 years of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav amongst 450 students of the school.
The company also held a Hindi essay writing competition amongst the students of the school. Certificates and Trophies were distributed amongst the winners of this competition.


The program ended with various cultural events performs by the students of the school which are highly appreciated by the audience.


Incidentally it was N.K. Gossain who had managed the entire branding activities for this events.
